Traditional living combined
with modern comfort
Perfectly integrated into our lush valley, classic and whitewashed, with fig trees, olive trees, and bougainvilleas surrounding it, this is our biggest one-bedroom house. Preserving its original design shows how in the old days people knew exactly where and how to build their homes.

1 |
You easily reach Casa das Figueiras by turning towards Zambujeira de Baixo on the southern side (Odeceixe side) of the Odeceixe bridge.
2 |
The road then follows the river upstream for 3 km; the first km is asphalt and the other two km are dirt roads in good condition. When you see a parking on your right side, with a big terracotta vase and stone walls, you’ve reached the main parking of Monte West Coast.
3 |
Leave the car here, walk down the stone stairs into the meadow, cross the pedestrian wooden bridge and follow the stone path to the other side of the river. When you see the houses in front Casa das Figueiras is the first one to the left.
“A beautiful, peaceful and secluded estate, which has been wonderfully designed for guests to enjoy the amazing natural surroundings”
